This privacy policy explains how Rliz handles information when you use our mobile application. Rliz is a document-filing tool that lets you photograph manuals, warranties, receipts, and notes, then organize them into visual index boxes on your device. We designed Rliz with a local-first philosophy: your photos and metadata remain on your iPhone unless you take an explicit action to share them.
All core data created through Rliz lives in the app's sandboxed storage on your iPhone. This includes:
None of this data is transmitted to external servers by Rliz itself. Deletion of the app removes all locally stored content permanently.
Rliz may ask for the following system permissions, each tied to a specific feature:
Required to photograph documents directly within the app. The permission prompt appears the first time you tap the camera capture button. Denying access does not prevent you from using the photo library import feature instead.
Used when you choose to import existing images from your device gallery. iOS presents its standard authorization dialog, giving you the choice to grant full access, limited access to selected photos, or to deny. Rliz respects your selection and does not attempt to circumvent limited-access restrictions.
The microphone permission is declared to support potential media capture scenarios. You will be prompted only if a feature requires audio input.
If you enable expiry tracking with reminders, Rliz requests notification permission to deliver local alerts before a saved deadline. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on-device.
Upon first launch, iOS displays its standard tracking authorization prompt. This allows you to decide whether Rliz and its embedded analytics or advertising frameworks may track your activity across other apps and websites. Your choice is respected immediately and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.
Rliz may integrate third-party software development kits for crash reporting, basic usage analytics, or advertising attribution. These services may collect:
We do not control the data practices of third-party SDK providers. We encourage you to review the privacy documentation of any such services integrated into the application.
When you snap or import a page photo, Rliz resizes and compresses the image, then writes it to the app's local documents directory. Thumbnails are generated on-device for display in item lists. Rliz does not upload, sync, or back up your photographs to any cloud service. If you use the iOS share sheet to send a page image to another app or contact, that transfer is governed by the receiving app's own policies.
Your boxes, items, and page photos persist on-device for as long as the app is installed. You may delete individual items, entire boxes, or all data at once through the Settings screen. Uninstalling Rliz removes all associated files from your device. We do not maintain server-side copies of your content.
Rliz's core filing and organization features operate without an internet connection. Network requests may occur for analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or advertising frameworks if integrated. These transmissions contain diagnostic or measurement data, not your personal documents or box contents.
Local data benefits from the hardware encryption and app sandbox protections built into iOS. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any third-party components included in Rliz follow industry-standard security practices. However, no software system can guarantee absolute security, and we cannot be held liable for vulnerabilities beyond our reasonable control.
Rliz is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
You maintain control over your experience with Rliz:

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the app's functionality or applicable legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this document will be revised accordingly. Continued use of Rliz after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
